Good Food Channel


The luxurious resort of Domes Of Elounda in Crete plays host to TV Chef James Martin and his new television programme for the Good Food Channel - 'James Martin's Mediterranean'. The resort comprises of 80 extravagant suites, 4 villas and 8 Private residences and provides the perfect backdrop for this innovative food series. The filming was divided into the following chapters;

Initially James is introduced to progressive Cretan cuisine, with resident Domes Of Elounda Chef Manolis Mprilakis acting as his capable assistant. Famous throughout Crete and local to the area of Elounda in particular Mr Martin tasted three excellent recipes;
- Tomato filled with Greek salad, fried spring rolls filled with feta cheese and olive paste.
- Sea bass with local Okras and Cretan herbs.
- 'Tiganites' local dough pastry fried and then served with thyme honey, strawberries and mastic ice cream. 

For the rest of the show watch James prepare recipes that compliment the culinary philosophy of the Domes Of Elounda Resort from the veranda of the Royal Villa and restaurant '1910' and it's highly romantic Pier. 

The series will be shown on the Good Food Channel and runs from Sunday 27th November - Thursday 1st December. The Domes Of Elounda episode will be shown on
Monday 28th November.
